In May of 2013, Cameron Village Shopping Center (in North Raleigh) and Regency Centers dedicated a Living Wall outside the Pier 1. Greenscape designed the wall at the request of Cameron Village to honor the victims of domestic violence. North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper attended the dedication and spoke on the issue, specifically addressing the woman killed at this location in a domestic violence incident in 2012.
